Idaho: Our best-selling Mountain Lion hunt
This Idaho Mountain Lion hunt puts you on the mountain with one of the best houndsmen and guides in the state. Extremely skilled in his craft and with the aid of some exceptional hounds (he uses his own and does not outsource) he will tirelessly work to tree a cat for you. Mountain Lion hunts are physically demanding (especially in Idaho) and start early in the morning. With that said you are hunting from the comfort of a comfortable lodge and will go out on a full stomach after a home-cooked breakfast. Sack lunches will go along with as the hunts can last into the evening hours. It’s certainly not an easy hunt but it is sure to be one you will not forget. These hunts are always 1×1 guided and they target mature toms. This outfitter has enjoyed just shy of 100% success on his cougar hunts since we started working with them 15 years ago. This is a family-run operation and you will be well taken care of from the moment you arrive. If you tag out on your cat you may have an opportunity to pursue wolves as well.
